In October of 1993, Thomas Butcher started working at Ledwell in William Griffin’s shop. After a few years, he moved to the Machine Shop running the Saw Department for two years. Thomas has spent most of his time at Ledwell in the Break and Shear Shop. In 2017, Thomas was promoted to shop foreman and oversees six people on day to day projects. Thomas enjoys building different
parts for different units, but says the people he works with and the Ledwell family is the best part of his job. “Building breast cancer ribbons that can be seen around Texarkana,” he said when asked about his favorite project over the years.

Thomas and his wife will celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary this year. They have three children, two boys and a girl. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, really anything outdoors. Thomas tries to spend as much time as he can chasing his kids in their activities and traveling.
