Ledwell Operational Series - HydraTail Trailer
Learn how to correctly operate a hydraulic tail trailer for sale by Ledwell.
Walk around the entire trailer to inspect the following:
Winch
Flooring
Air & hydraulic lines
Wheels & tires
Landing gear
Overhead & ground obstructions
Lights
Engage the PTO inside the tractor cab by pushing it to the "on" position
Dump the trailer suspension by pulling out the air switch located at the front control panel on either side of the trailer.
Chock wheels.
If using Ledwell's wireless remote to operate mini-deck and tail:
Push Tilt Up to raise Mini Deck, if required.
Pull air switch located at the front control panel to engage bed locks.
Push Tilt Down to lower Mini Deck to rest on bed locks.
Push Tail Up to raise the tail.
Push Lock Off to unlock tail & fold.
Push Fold Out to raise fold.
Push Tail Down to lower the tail.
Load Equipment and remember to set the parking brake.
Secure the equipment to the trailer with preferred tie-down.
Be sure each piece is tied down at four points to secure properly.
To unload, reverse the process.

Ledwell Operational Series - Hydraulic Winch
Learn how to correctly operate a hydraulic winch to load or unload equipment on any manufactured Ledwell truck body or trailer.
To get started, inspect the following:
Overhead & ground obstructions
Winch cable for breakage
Engage PTO inside the cab
Dump the air suspension of the truck or trailer.
Chock the wheels.
If using Ledwell's wireless remote to operate:
Push Winch Out to reel out the winch.
Pull the chain through the tow hook and secure it.
Push Winch In to reel in the winch.
Load Equipment and remember to set the parking brake.
Secure equipment with preferred tie-downs.
Be sure each piece is anchored at four points to secure properly.
To unload, reverse the process.
