Air Actuator – Inline Control Valve, Air-to-Close, 2-1/2″ FNPT

This 2-1/2 inch inline control valve is designed for air-actuated systems requiring reliable shutoff performance. With an air-to-close configuration, the valve uses compressed air to seal the diaphragm against the seat, stopping flow with precision. When air pressure is released, the valve opens under line pressure for free-flowing operation.

Built with a durable cast iron body and a replaceable seat insert, the valve features a diaphragm assembly made of nylon-reinforced synthetic rubber. The diaphragm is the only moving part, forming a sealed upper chamber that separates air pressure from line pressure.

When air pressure is applied to the diaphragm chamber, the valve closes tight. Releasing that pressure allows the valve to open fully under line pressure.
